Creative Workshops for every child
22 May 2019
We run free school workshops every year at Forest of Imagination working with students from schools across the city of Bath. The school days provide Forest with an opportunity to invite schools and students to get involved with artists both local and international to create, make, inspire, enthuse and play.
Workshops are run by organisations and artists and this year include: The House of Fairy Tales, artist, Alison Harper, ceramicist Clare Day, artists Matthew Leece and Ray Clarke, author and illustrator Pippa Pixley and writer Alice Maddicott.
Forest of Imagination wants to create an engaging and thought provoking series of experiences for all ages but with an emphasis on children and their connection with the natural environment.
Forest co-founder, Penny Hay of 5x5x5=creativity: ” Forest celebrates the wonder of childhood, sharing some of the most innovative and playful experiences in its ‘Forest of Imagination’ – a unique pop-up contemporary arts and architecture event combining multi-disciplinary installations with a kaleidoscope of imaginative events and happenings: a place of serious creative play. Come and be part of the fun and festivity. Immerse yourself in a wealth of creative and thought provoking events across the City of Bath.”
