Create a Fantastical Forest Map

Create a Fantastical Forest Map
19 Jun 2017

Cambridge Curiosity and Imagination are joining Forest of Imagination this year, on a mission to inspire children and adults to develop their own curiosity and imagination!

The organisation will run a workshop at Forest developing a fantastical map of Forest of Imagination, bringing together real and imaginary journeys and stories.

The workshop, which will be run by CCI artists, will be structured into a series of games, inviting you to explore architecture, wild cities, night maps and sounds.

Forest explorers will have the opportunity to add to the creative installations in the Ensemble Room, at The Edge Arts, or take their explorations out and about around the Forest of Imagination. All ages are welcome! Curiosity and willingness are the only skills required!

CCI is a creative organisation that works to inspire and enrich communities, to support them ‘to believe in themselves and find their own voice’. Designing ways for people of all ages to develop their own curiosity and imagination by inviting them into playful environments, both indoors and outdoors, and giving them the permission to explore.

This year’s Forest of Imagination will connect people to nature in a variety of wild and imaginative ways. Forest is open from June 30th until July 2nd from 10am to 6pm every day. Forest of Imagination is free to all.
